Nearly 40 football-enthusiastic CDSC students experienced a true highlight on November 1st: professional footballer and former Bundesliga player Peniel Mlapa, currently a striker for the Lamphun Warriors in Thailand’s top league, invited them to an exclusive training session at the Evo Park.

Despite a rainy start, neither the children nor the coaching team let the weather dampen their spirits. After a short warm-up, the participants were divided into age-appropriate groups and rotated through various training stations focused on technique, coordination, ball control and, of course, plenty of fun. Two exciting training matches pushed all players to give everything they had once more.

To round off the day, a special highlight awaited the young athletes: a shooting competition on small goals, with the distance increasing each round. The tension was high — and in the end, two lucky winners walked away with an original signed Lamphun Warriors jersey.

For everyone involved, it was an extraordinary experience and an all-around fantastic day. A heartfelt thank you goes to Peniel Mlapa and his family, who made this special training possible.

A big additional thank-you goes to Martin Brinkmann, who first brought the idea to life and was largely responsible for organizing the event.

Thank you for this unforgettable experience!
