Once again this year, the CDSC welcomed a very special guest: On December 4, St. Nicholas visited our five kindergarten groups, bringing smiles to their faces and creating a festive atmosphere.
Dressed in his big red coat and carrying a sack full of small gifts, he was greeted enthusiastically by the children. The kindergarten children sang cheerful St. Nicholas songs to welcome him and proudly presented him with homemade cookies that they had baked especially for his visit. St. Nicholas took plenty of time, listened attentively, and lovingly distributed his surprises.
After his tour of all the groups, St. Nicholas also stopped by the teachers’ room and the administrative staff to bring them warm greetings for the Advent season.
We thank St. Nicholas for his wonderful visit and are already looking forward to welcoming him back to CDSC next year!
