On Saturday, 18.01.2025, the U8 and U10 soccer teams were invited to a friendly tournament with several schools from Chiang Mai.
The strong field of participants included 7 Atelier, Unity’s, 99 Private Training PREM and a team from PREM School.

The original plan was to enter 2 U8 teams, but last-minute cancellations from other schools forced the organizers to cancel one CDSC team for organizational reasons. The coaches were not deterred by this and combined both U8 teams.

There were also some organizational surprises in the U10 division. Suddenly they were playing 7-a-side and not 5-a-side as announced in advance. “We then let our older U8 kids play in the U10s, otherwise we wouldn’t have had enough players,” reported coach Selina Görtler. As a result, the U10s didn’t really have it easy in the tournament, but the team still put up a brave fight and stuck together very well.

It was a completely different story in the U8s. The loss of the older boys was hardly noticeable here, as the superiority of the CDSC team could be described as overwhelming. The team went home undefeated and without losing any points as the satisfied tournament winners.
