The new school year at the Christian German School Chiang Mai (CDSC) began today with a festive school opening service. In a warm atmosphere, all new teachers, interns, and volunteers were introduced to the school community.
There was particularly loud cheering for the new first graders, who were euphorically celebrated by the entire school. All other new students were also welcomed with open arms. The program was accompanied by atmospheric musical performances. Led by music teacher Caroline Brinkmann, Years 4 and 5 performed the song “Way Maker”, while Year 12 brought the event to a memorable close with the CDSC school song. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Martin Brinkmann, whose professional management of the technical side of the event helped ensure the smooth running of the entire programme.
Afterwards, the students went to their classrooms for the first time, while the kindergarten children got to know their groups. It was a successful first day of school that left everyone wanting more – classes start tomorrow and the 2025/26 school year is really getting underway.
We wish all students a successful and blessed new school year!
