This Wednesday, St. Nicholas visited us in his red coat, pointed hat and black boots. He also brought a big sack full of presents for the children of the CDSC kindergarten.
Together with the children from our 5 kindergarten groups, he sang songs, ate delicious home-baked cookies and read from his book. To everyone’s surprise, he knew exactly what makes the individual groups so special, what the children do well and what they perhaps don’t always do so “well”. However, as everyone was very nice last year, St. Nicholas gave everyone little presents and the children’s eyes were sparkling.
There was also a big crowd in the schoolyard, everyone wanted to say hello to Santa.
Happy, but also “a little” sweaty from the Thai heat, he finally visited our teachers and administrative staff. There was even the obligatory selfie 😊. And so it wasn’t just the little ones who had happy faces today, the grown-ups were beaming too.
Thank you for your visit, dear Santa Claus, and see you next year.
