On Saturday, the world’s first regional network meeting (RNT) of a dual region of German schools abroad (DAS) in Asia and Southeast Asia came to an end.

All 19 German schools abroad (DAS) took part in the RNT, which was organized by CDSC. Under the superb leadership of a team of moderators from key2advance, board members, school administrators, administrative managers, and Mr. Dicke, Mr. Hinxlage, and Mr. Pahl from the ZfA worked out solutions in a methodologically outstanding manner to make the schools in the dual region future-proof.

This RNT was characterized by the courage to simply think in new ways and, through networking, to critically and constructively engage with the approaches of other schools. In addition to the structural and financial challenges that all schools have to overcome to varying degrees, the focus was always on our core task: providing the best possible education and support for the young people at our schools.

With optimism and the positive power of community, we will bring the momentum gained to our respective German schools abroad.

Thank you to the ZfA for its financial support and personnel presence here in Chiang Mai. Thank you to all participants for the successful exchange and productive time.
