On Sunday, September 27, 2026, CDSC’s U10 and U12 teams met for their first joint warm-up match – and delivered a real celebration of football!
The friendly marked the start of preparations for the BVB Youth Cup, taking place on November 14, 2026, in Bangkok at Ruamrudee International School (RIS Swiss Section) – where CDSC will this year travel with two teams, a U10 and a U12 side. The trip is organized by Martin Brinkmann and Patrick Kim-Türk; in today’s warm-up match, Martin Brinkmann coached both teams from the sideline.
In the match, both teams played several halves against each other, with the individual results becoming entirely secondary. The focus was on growing together as a team and building a strong sense of unity – and that succeeded impressively! Remarkable fairness prevailed on the pitch from the first minute to the last, and off the ball too, the players kept cheering each other on.
Coach Martin Brinkmann was thoroughly delighted as well: “I saw fantastic footballing approaches – we can build on that.” With this great momentum behind them, CDSC looks ahead to the BVB Youth Cup in November full of anticipation and in the best of spirits!
