On the last school day before the holidays, our CDSC Christmas service took place. Children, families, and staff came together to pause, experience community, and celebrate the birth of Jesus.
With songs, prayers, instrumental music, and shared carols, the children played a central role in shaping the service and creating a festive atmosphere.
The devotion was thoughtfully prepared and presented by the children with great enthusiasm and dedication. Under the musical direction of music teacher Caroline Brinkmann, songs, prayers, instrumental performances, and traditional Christmas carols created a festive and reflective atmosphere. The students participated with great joy and commitment, making the devotion a special and memorable experience for everyone in attendance. The third and fourth graders introduced Christmas traditions and, by looking behind a large red curtain, directed attention to the true message of Christmas: hope, love, peace, and togetherness.
A special highlight was the flashmob performed by the teachers. Our Thai staff also enriched the service with festive attire and a Christmas song in Thai.
The Christmas service marked a beautiful conclusion to the Advent season. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making this special celebration possible.
The CDSC wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
