On Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Anke Reiffenstuel to the Christliche Deutsche Schule Chiang Mai (CDSC).
Ms. Reiffenstuel is the Federal Foreign Office Commissioner for Foreign Science, Education and Research Policy and, in this role, also serves as a point of contact for German Schools Abroad.
For her visit, our entire school community had prepared something special: Our students gathered on campus and welcomed Ms. Reiffenstuel with an impressive sea of flags.
Afterwards, she got a personal insight into our school through our “CDSC in 5 Minutes” format. Students from different grades introduced themselves and shared insights into their everyday school life and our diverse school community.
A special highlight was singing our CDSC Song together. Students, teachers and guests all joined in, bringing the spirit of CDSC to life through music.
The visit was a special occasion for our entire school community and showed what makes our school so special: community, diversity and a strong sense of togetherness.
We would like to sincerely thank Ms. Reiffenstuel for her visit and for the wonderful moments we shared at CDSC.
