It is with sadness that we learned of the passing of former Honorary Consul Hagen Dirksen. With Mr. Dirksen’s passing, not only the Christian German School Chiang Mai, but the entire German community in Chiang Mai has lost a highly respected and very committed advocate.
Mr. Dirksen accompanied the Christian German School Chiang Mai throughout a long period of the school’s history and supported our school in many ways. Mr. Dirksen played an indispensable role in many of the school’s developments over the past years. In crisis situations, Hagen Dirksen repeatedly proved himself to be a successful mediator. With his intelligent and friendly manner, he was greatly appreciated by the entire school community.
We at CDSC will miss Mr. Dirksen very much. We wish his dear wife and all his relatives comfort, support, and God’s help during this difficult time.
