This Wednesday, St. Nicholas visited us in his red coat, pointed hat and black boots. He also brought a big sack full of presents for the children of the CDSC kindergarten.

Together with the children from our 5 kindergarten groups, he sang songs, ate delicious home-baked cookies and read from his book. To everyoneโ€™s surprise, he knew exactly what makes the individual groups so special, what the children do well and what they perhaps donโ€™t always do so โ€œwellโ€. However, as everyone was very nice last year, St. Nicholas gave everyone little presents and the childrenโ€™s eyes were sparkling.

There was also a big crowd in the schoolyard, everyone wanted to say hello to Santa.

Happy, but also โ€œa littleโ€ sweaty from the Thai heat, he finally visited our teachers and administrative staff. There was even the obligatory selfie ๐Ÿ˜Š. And so it wasnโ€™t just the little ones who had happy faces today, the grown-ups were beaming too.

Thank you for your visit, dear Santa Claus, and see you next year.
