At our CDSC Fun Fair 2025, we raised a total of 8,215 THB in donations. The proceeds will benefit Baan Yang Kaew School in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province.
As part of the donation handover, we were pleased to welcome teacher Tippaka Kaewklangdong to the CDSC. During a tour of our school and a personal exchange, we had the opportunity to introduce our school, get to know each other better and share experiences.
Baan Yang Kaew School supports children in a remote, mountainous region of northern Thailand. Lessons take place in the village of Baan Pong Din, a traditional Karen village located several kilometres from the main Baan Yang Kaew School. The concept of the so-called mobile school follows the approach of bringing education directly to the children – particularly in areas where the nearest school is far away and difficult to reach.
Around 50 children attend the school, which provides education from kindergarten through to Grade 6. Additional support is needed to ensure that the children continue to have good learning conditions.
Our donation will help improve the school’s facilities and infrastructure. It is intended to fund durable everyday items as well as urgently needed learning and teaching materials. In this way, we hope to support the school’s educational work and contribute to creating better opportunities for the children’s future.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort and support to making our CDSC Fun Fair 2025 a success. This donation would not have been possible without you!
We would also like to extend our special thanks to our sponsors for their generous support: Minigolf Hang Dong, Nic’s, 50flychiangmai, Petchlanna Muaythai School (PMS), We Learn Thai, Baanpong Lodge and Yummy Pizza.
