On Thursday evening, December 14, 2023, CDSC students, parents and teachers were able to enjoy the festive atmosphere in the rose-decorated chapel of the McKean campus, where the CDSC Christmas concert took place under the direction of music teacher Carolin Fiseni.
Kristin Bellm, Hauke Päs, Christina Broneske and Benita Janfrüchte actively contributed to the success of the performance by conducting, piano accompaniment and taking care of the audio technology, among other things.
In addition to song contributions from the elementary school and Year 7, Year 10 also delighted the audience with their keyboard accompaniment to “Rocking around the Christmas Tree”.
The young talents Leila (solo singing, class 4) and Similan (piano accompaniment, class 6) were particularly outstanding: hopefully we will hear more from these pupils in the future!
The highlight of the evening was the mini-musical about the miracle of St. Elizabeth’s roses, performed jointly by the 5th and 6th classes. To round things up, a festive Christmas atmosphere was created when the audience sang German and Thai Christmas carols together with the performers at the end.
