As part of the SCORE Project, Christian German School Chiang Mai (CDSC) is actively committed to environmental protection and sustainability. An important part of the project is planting trees together – and this school year, our students are once again making a positive contribution to a greener future.
Recently, Grade 6 took part in a tree-planting activity. Together, the students planted new trees and made their own personal contribution to a more sustainable future. With enthusiasm and commitment, they planted and cared for the young trees.
The SCORe Project combines practical action with learning about sustainability. Through activities like this, students experience first-hand how a small plant can grow into a strong and valuable tree with the right care. At the same time, they learn about the important role trees play in our climate, biodiversity, and the environment we all share.
At CDSC, we believe that sustainability should not only be discussed in the classroom, but also put into practice through active participation and shared responsibility. Every planting activity is a small but meaningful step forward – and we hope that the newly planted trees will be part of our school community for many years to come.
