The Advent Bazaar, held under tropical palm trees and in warm temperatures, is a very special experience every year, and once again we were delighted to welcome many guests to the CDSC. Despite the climate, a wonderful Christmas atmosphere was created thanks to everyone involved, who contributed with great dedication to making the event such a success.
The many stalls offering food, drinks, and lovingly crafted goods—organized by students, parents, and additional supporters—made the Christmas market truly special.
Another highlight was the musical program: all classes, from kindergarten through Grade 12, performed Christmas songs, many of them well-known classics. From beginning to end, atmospheric live Christmas music accompanied the Advent Bazaar, creating a festive ambiance. The heartwarming performances brought great joy to everyone and noticeably enhanced the positive mood.
The entire Advent Bazaar was characterized by a strong sense of community and once again demonstrated the special spirit and cohesion of the CDSC.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the organizing team as well as to all classes and contributors for their wonderful efforts. Special thanks go to Caroline Brinkmann and Martin Brinkmann, who prepared, rehearsed, and impressively carried out all of the musical performances with the children. In addition, they took care of the entire technical setup—from installation to execution—thus playing a key role in the successful and festive atmosphere of the Advent Bazaar.
