In 2025, the time had finally come: CDSC was proud to present its newly founded U6 Bambini soccer team. Under the leadership of Achim & Cholnicha Oppinger, not only were young sports enthusiasts brought together, but the foundation was also laid for long-term sporting development in our school.
The team, consisting of CDSC’s youngest soccer talents (11 boys & 1 girl), not only took their first steps on the pitch in their first year, but also developed a remarkable community. The children are not only learning the basics of soccer, but also important values such as team spirit, fair play and discipline.
The enthusiasm was palpable right from the start. Even during the first training sessions, the young footballers were full of energy and eagerness to score their first goals and play their first passes. Their confidence and team spirit grew with every training session, and it was a pleasure to see how they developed both athletically and personally.
During the first small friendly matches, you could not only see the sporting progress, but also the enthusiasm and pride in the children’s eyes. Special highlights were several friendly matches against other U6 teams.
We are proud of the progress made and look forward to experiencing many exciting moments and successes with our young team in the coming years.

This would not have been possible without the support of the parents and, above all, the motivated and talented children who give their best every day. We are already looking forward to the coming school year and to many more goals and experiences on and off the pitch!
