Junior Swim Meet at the NIS

“Swimmers, take your mark, get ready”, then the whistle blew again for the start of the first Junior Swim Meet race at NIS for 13 CDSC students in the new school year. A total of 350 pupils, parents and coaches gathered on the school grounds. The weather cooperated, although there had been heavy rainfall in Chiang Mai with devastating effects. It seemed a little bizarre to hold this competition now of all times. The element of water is quite ambivalent, and Tuesday, Oct. 1st, it showed its best side: clear, elegant and as a painting surface for aesthetic swimming styles and lightning-fast gliding arrows, our swimmers really gave their all, whether in individual races or in the relay. I would like to thank everyone for their commitment and participation.

Of course I would also like to thank the entire support team, the coaches and the parents, because without them it would simply not have been possible.
Here is a brief summary of the results of this great day:
Age group 6-7
Max: Bronze in 25m Freestyle, Silver in 25m Breaststroke
Age group 8-9
Carys: Bronze in 50m Breaststroke
