It’s done, the 2023/2024 school year ended today with a closing worship service and an emotional farewell to the departing teachers, staff and volunteers.
The CDSC’s annual sports day had already taken place the day before. Organized by our student council, a variety of sporting activities were once again on the agenda. Groups consisting of pupils from all classes (1-12) competed for the top places and the top three were ceremoniously rewarded with plenty of sweet treats at the award ceremony.
The kindergarten was also sporty and organized its own games for the little ones, which was a joy to everyone. The little ones worked up quite a sweat in the sack race and many other activities, but everyone clearly had a lot of fun.
We would like to thank all the pupils and their parents for a great school year and are looking forward to welcoming you back to CDSC in August. We would also like to thank our teachers, staff and volunteers for their tireless efforts over the past school year. As always, it would not have been possible without you.
And last but not least, a big THANK YOU to our departing teachers, staff and volunteers – in short, to our friends! You have been an incredible enrichment and we thank you for your dedication and above all friendship. We will miss each and every one of you so much.
