Today, the entire CDSC school community gathered for a heartfelt devotion in memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who passed away on October 24th.

The ceremony began with a short video reflecting on Her Majesty’s life and her remarkable contributions to the nation. Afterwards, everyone joined in a moment of quiet reflection, accompanied by moving words of gratitude and respect by Chanisa Doyawa Raman, the school’s Thai Director.

In deep sorrow and solidarity with the Thai people, the community then observed a minute of silence — a symbol of shared mourning. Following this, our Chairman of the School Board, Mr. Timo Löwen, led everyone in a prayer of unity and remembrance.

To conclude the service, the entire school joined together in singing Amazing Grace, filling the hall with a sense of unity, reverence, and gratitude for Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication, compassion, and love for her country.

CDSC mourns together with the nation — in profound sympathy and grateful remembrance of Her Majesty.
