Astronauts, cowboys, princesses, police officers, firefighters and lots of superheroes and heroines arrived at the kindergarten on Tuesday morning (Feb. 13). There were also animals around: Dogs, ladybugs, cows, fish and other colorful creatures were spotted. It was the day of the dress-up party!
The music was turned up and the party could begin with balloons, streamers and lots of dancing and movement. In the groups, the children were able to marvel at the glittering dresses of the princesses, the extravagant dancing skills of Michael Jackson, the daring stunts of the Spidermans and the colorful, dazzling costumes of the other children at the fashion show. That was a highlight!
Of course, such a party also included delicious food! The buffet included the most delicious snacks and a few unusual treats: a moonscape made of popcorn with a fruit skewer rocket, a fruit space vehicle and much more. Many thanks to the parents for these treats!
After a colorful and cheerful morning with lots of fun and games, the three groups went on a polonaise on the CDSC grounds and brought some colorful atmosphere into the administration building and the classrooms with music and sweets.
The morning was rounded off with a joint “duck dance” session.
Although this year’s dress-up party was a little smaller due to a wave of illness in the kindergarten, it was still a complete success! And so we are already looking forward to next year, when it will be colorful again.
