Last Saturday, 6 June 2026, our annual CDSC Fun Fair took place. Early in the morning, dark clouds and persistent rain gave little reason for optimism. The joy was therefore even greater when the sun appeared just in time for the start of the event and numerous visitors made their way to our school campus. Although we were met with a few more rain showers later in the afternoon, neither our guests nor our helpers let the weather dampen their spirits. Together, we embraced the challenge and enjoyed a wonderful day filled with fun, community, and memorable moments.
All across the campus, visitors could enjoy a wide variety of attractions, games, and hands-on activities. Once again, the many activities organized and supervised by our students proved especially popular. The large flea market in the gymnasium attracted many treasure hunters searching for hidden gems, while the Silent Auction and Tombola generated plenty of excitement for visitors of all ages.
Of course, there was also a fantastic selection of food and refreshments available throughout the day. From pizza, burgers, and curry to Thai specialties, ice cream, cakes, and coffee, there was something to satisfy every taste. Many families took the opportunity to enjoy a meal together, catch up with friends, and soak up the unique atmosphere of the event.
One of the highlights of our Fun Fair each year is the incredible commitment of our school community. Whether students, parents, teachers, or staff members, countless volunteers contributed their time and energy to ensure that the event was a great success despite the unpredictable weather conditions.
