Only one day left until the new school year begins! On the last day of preparation, CDSC employees took part in an intensive training day that combined two important topics: first aid and child protection.

In the first aid course, all key emergency measures were discussed and practiced – from chest compressions and ventilation to what to do in the event of a blocked airway and how to treat heatstroke or circulatory problems. As there are particular risks in Thailand, the correct treatment of snake bites, for example, was also an important part of the course. The trainers also placed a special focus on treating children so that we can respond quickly and correctly in age-related emergencies.

The annual child protection course took place in the morning, teaching the basics, preventive measures, and steps to take to protect children from danger and act appropriately in critical situations. The participants dealt intensively with recognizing warning signs, creating a safe environment at school, and acting responsibly in an emergency.

We would like to thank all teachers and staff for their great cooperation and intensive training. We are now all even better prepared for tomorrow’s school start, so that we can respond quickly, competently, and responsibly in both medical and child protection matters.

See you tomorrow.
