The CDSC Christmas Market 2024

Yesterday, the Christian German School Chiang Mai transformed into a festive wonderland, hosting its annual Christmas Market. This much-anticipated event brought together students, families, teachers, and visitors to celebrate the magic of the holiday season. With a delightful mix of food, drinks, handmade goods, and live performances, the Christmas Market offered something for everyone, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy.

A Feast for the Senses

The market featured an array of food stands offering delicious treats that evoked the spirit of Christmas. From classic German Christmas fare like bratwurst sausages to international offerings such as freshly baked cookies, hot chocolate, and much much more, the food and drink options satisfied every craving. Local vendors also set up stalls, adding variety with Thai-inspired delicacies, making the event a true culinary celebration.

For those seeking something else, the second hand market offered an array of things which were waiting to find their new owners

Musical Performances and Festive Cheer

A highlight of the Christmas Market was the series of live performances throughout the afternoon. Students from different grades showcased their talents, singing classic Christmas songs and performing cheerful holiday tunes. From children’s choirs to instrumental groups, the performances created an uplifting atmosphere, filling the air with holiday spirit. The joyous sounds of e.g. “All I want for Christmas” and “Snowman” echoed across the school grounds, drawing crowds and spreading smiles.

A Strong Sense of Community

As the evening drew near, the market lights twinkled and shimmered, casting a magical glow over the entire school. So once again, this year’s Christmas Market was more than just a place to shop and eat—it was an event that brought the entire school community together. Creating lasting memories for students, families and the whole community.

Thank you to all the helping hands, without each and every one of you this amazing celebration would not have been possible!
