Welcome to the school year 2021/22!
On Monday, August 16, 2021, CDSC kicked off the new school year with a school service online. This year, however, many things were different than in years past.
Due to the Corona pandemic, the school year opened with a live-streamed service. The new teachers and volunteers were able to introduce themselves in short video clips. Their great excitement to meet the students was evident.
Afterwards, the 15 new first graders were welcomed in a small ceremony, and only afterwards were their parents informed separately about the upcoming school life. It was then exciting for the new students to explore the school grounds and their new classroom. It was an unusual first start into school life.
From August 17, the remaining students also had an unusual start to school life. They met online for the first time but surely had a lot to tell each other. We wish everyone a wonderful and blessed school year.
